In 1997, I began my first year at Chandler Christian School as a Pre-K assistant. I was so privileged to be able to enjoy going to work with my two children who attended CCS for two years. During the course of the past 14 years, I have been involved in various roles at CCS and two other schools, as an administrative assistant/Student Services Secretary, preschool teacher, art teacher, Kindergarten assistant, and most recently KinderBridge assistant. Additionally, I have taught Sunday school for various ages, and I am a co-leader in my church’s nursery program.  I thoroughly enjoy working with four to six year olds, as they develop their love of learning, and I have spent eight and a half of my 14 years in education working with this special age-group. In addition to being blessed to interact with many children at school, I have raised two wonderful children of my own: my daughter is going to be a sophomore at NAU, and my son will be a freshman at U of A this fall. I have also been married 22 years to my high school sweetheart who has been a high school teacher for 13 years, and recently stepped into the role of being an assistant principal. As you can see the love of learning is a big part of my life, as well as my family’s!
