Melanie Dykstra-PTF PresidentI have been married 10 years to Randy and have two children attending CCS, Nathan (3nd) and Abbie (1st). After 14 years with Mesa Parks and Recreation, I recently become a stay-at-home mom, and continue to volunteer on the Gilbert Parks board. I am looking forward to serving for a third term as PTF president and as your parent representative on the school board. I feel blessed for the opportunity to send our kids to CCS and am excited to be a part of serving the school.
Tracie Munson Hage- Vice President
My name is Tracie Munson and my step-son Nash will be starting kindergarten this year. This is his third year here at CCS and my second year on the board. I met my husband 6 years ago at church and we have been married for 2 ½ years. We really enjoy CCS not only for the great education Nash gets but also for the scriptural side that he won’t get in a public school. I have been an accountant for over 8 years and work for a local company here in Chandler. I look forward to all that we have planned this year and am so excited to be able to be involved at CCS.
Trent Ainsworth-Secretary
I have been associated with CCS for 4 years now, and the association is a full family activity. My wife Melissa will be the school's librarian for the 3rd year and my daughters are in 2nd grade and Kindergarten. I have been participating in the PTF since my oldest daughter started school. (Trent’s willingness to show up consistently to meetings and voice his opinions got him nominated to the PTF board!). I really enjoy taking an active part in the school which so richly blesses my children and serving on the PTF board is a great way to give some service back to the school. When I am not busy staying abreast of PTF activities, I work at Intel doing processor validation, participate in a bowling league, play girlie things with his girls, and enjoy computer games after the rest of the family has gone to bed.
Traci Gruenberger-Treasurer
My name is Traci Gruenberger. I work for Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest as the Senior Vice President of Program Development and Operations. My daughter Kailee is in 4th grade. This is my ninth year as a CCS parent and my third year as PTF Treasurer. Serving on PTF gives me an opportunity to serve the Lord through the ministry of CCS. Serving on PTF helps to support CCS, which makes CCS a great place for all of our kids to learn and grow.
Cheron Lange-Co-Committee Coordinator
My name is Cheron Lange. My little one started at CCS, in the fall of 2008 and we absolutely fell in love with the teachings of CCS. We transferred our son here to start this fall 2009. I am a full time wife, mother, daughter, aunt, friend…you name it! I also work with my husband side by side buying and selling Real Estate. I feel that it is a blessing to become involved with the family of CCS who spend their time teaching my children.
Cheryl Wright-Gonzales-Co-Committee Coordinator
My name is Cheryl Wright-Gonzales. I have worked as a Project Manager for the last nine years for a California-based high-tech company. I have been married for almost nine years and have two daughters. Our oldest daughter will be starting 1st grade this year, and our youngest daughter will (hopefully) start the beginners program soon. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he’ll not depart from it.” We feel very blessed to be part of the Chandler Christian School community, where we know the staff is in partnership with us regarding the education of our children, both academically and spiritually. We are really looking forward to another great year at CCS.
Jackie Bui-Communications Coordinator
My name is Jacqueline "Jackie" Bui and my life's journey began in Colombia South America, various states in the U.S, oversees to the Fiji Islands for four years and back to the good ole USA. My family and I relocated from Washington State to AZ in November 2004. My son Dante has attended CCS since Pre-K and is entering third grade this year; he will be joined by his sister Talia who will be starting Pre-K. We love CCS, the school is an absolute blessing. I thank God each day that my children are able to be submerged in an educational atmosphere focused on Him, a foundation that will carry them through the hills and valleys of life. I am a breast cancer survivor and think of each day as a gift and an opportunity to serve Christ. I am also a graduate of the University of Washington and worked in the Graphic Design and Marketing industry for nearly a decade prior to moving to AZ and becoming CEO of the Home. I have a heart for children and am honored to be serving on the PTF board this school year.
